Let’s get to the nitty gritty details for CrossRock 2011 on Friday, Sept. 23.

Big Daddy Weave, Kerrie Roberts and Luminate

What:
Outdoor concert for all ages. Bring your lawn chair or blanket, grab some supper on site from Chevys Fresh Mex, CrossRock’s partner in food, and enjoy this alcohol-free event. Rain or shine, the worship will go on!

When:
Friday, Sept. 23, 2011
5:00 doors open
6:00 side stage with COS House band
7:00 main stage with Big Daddy Weave, Kerrie Roberts and Luminate

Where:
Located off Highway 94 and Jungermann in St. Charles, CrossRock will be held hillside of Church of the Shepherd. As a landmark, look on the hill behind Walmart on Hwy 94. More on directions here.

Why:
To bring together the community for a night of music and worship in an outdoor arena to not only quench the concert-goers’ soul within us, but to give support to Joplin, as they continue to clean-up and rebuild their community and their lives after the spring tornado that ripped through this southwest Missouri town.

Proceeds from CrossRock will go to the Joplin Relief Effort. If you’re interested in participating further, CrossRock host Church of the Shepherd is sending teams monthly to serve in Joplin. Most missions are Thursday – Sunday, extended weekend opportunities. Learn more at www.coswired.org.
